FDM 3D Printing

(Fused Deposition Modeling)

Need Your Parts quick? Our FDM 3D printing service is Exactly what you looking for.

Fast Cast Effect Lead time for 1 day

FDM is the most widely available form of 3D printing. FDM is great for producing models and mock-ups for your designs. Verify your CAD models quickly and easily with a wide range of materials.

We employ industrial-grade FDM printers to give you exceptional results on time.

Once the entire model is finished and prepared for clean-up and support removal, FDM machines deposit a thermoplastic filament through a heated nozzle onto a build plate one layer at a time

FDM capabilities

Requirement Specification
Maximum build Volume (Single Build) 520 x 345 x 650 mm (Parts shall be split, Printed separately and fused together to form much larger volumes)
Standard lead time 2-3 business days
Dimensional accuracy ± 0.3 mm
Layer height 100-300 µm
Infill density 30-100%

Finish As printed SLS parts are typically white or stone grey in color with a smooth surface and a powder texture and without visible layers

Design guidelines for SLS

The table below summarizes the recommended and technically feasible values for the most common features encountered in 3D printed parts.

Feature Recommended size
Unsupported walls 1.0-2.0 mm
Supported walls 0.8-1.0 mm
Minimum feature size 1.0 mm (living hinges are possible at 0.7 mm) size
Minimum hole diameter 1.0 mm
Maximum wall thickness 20 mm Thicker parts must be hollowed with and at least two escape holes for powder removal with a min. diameter of 8 mm

Meterials

The most common material for selective laser sintering is nylon, a highly capable engineering thermoplastic for both functional prototyping and end-use production.

...
Nylon 12 (PA 12)(Polyamide)

Nylon 12 is a leading material for industrial 30 printing. This robust material has superb mechanical properties and can replace injection moulded alternatives.

  • High strength and stiffness
  • Fully functional, high-quality plastic parts
  • Excellent mechanical properties, an ideal substitute for common injection moulding plastics
  • High abrasion resistance, ideal for use in the development of parts with movable components
  • Excellent long-term stability

...
Glass-filled Nylon(PA 12 GF)(Polyamide)

lass-led SLS nylon is reinforced with glass beads, creating parts with higher stiffness and thermal stability than standard nylon.

  • High strength and stiffness
  • High strength and stiffness
  • Temperature tolerance of up to 180°C
  • High Chemical Resistance
